New Gutters

I've been getting up on top of the house and barn 3 or 4 times a year for 5 years now to clean out the gutters.  We have alot of maple and locust trees, and it's a chore to do.  Lovely wife urged me to investigate new gutters.  So I did, and today was the day of the install.

The two man crew worked quickly.  They tore down all the old guttering in no time, and put up seemless aluminum gutters on the house.  The frosting on the cake is the installation of screens on top of the new gutters to keep out all the garbage.  So, I hope to never go up on the roof again to clean out plugged up gutters.

Here's all the old gutters ripped down and in a pile.  They were in bad shape.

 

And here is the man rolling out a 61 foot seamless section of new 6" gutter.  It was fun to watch.

Things That Don't Go Well Together

What do you get when you cross a night light and an aluminized foil packet of Woolite?

 

 

Answer:  A tripped circuit breaker. 

 

(And this could explain why #3 Kiddo's hair is always standing up)
