The boy bonked his head again. He tumbled down a couple of concrete steps near the pedestrian bridge over the river. He came out of it pretty well - just a slight abrasion on his forehead, and a deeper (yet smaller) abrasion under his nose.

One night this last week, I got kids ready for bed early and quickly enough that we were still able to enjoy some of the daylight. We went outside for an "adventure walk" in our pajamas.

The boy's shoes are a little weird - the velcro is shot.
So his shoes are more like slippers:
